+ Meals-On-Wheels Back-Up Site Manager – Cheatham County

PRN position stationed at the Ashland City Meals-On-Wheels site. Candidate must be able to follow instructions, document work performed, be self-motivated, and have a reliable source of transportation. Duties to be performed include packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, and completing reports. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid TN Driver’s license, personal car insurance and reliable motor vehicle required.

+ Meals-On-Wheels Site Aide – Clarksville, TN

Part-time position stationed at the Clarksville Meals-On-Wheels site. Duties associated with the position include monitoring food temperature, packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, completing reports and other documentation, assisting with daily paperwork, and outreach to the senior community. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients.

Approximately 12-15 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; clean background, driver’s license, reliable transportation, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task & prioritize job related activities, accuracy and attention to detail. Basic computer skills required and an interest in working with older adults.

Duties to be performed include packing and serving meals, ensuring the cleanliness of the site, completing reports and other documentation, recruiting volunteers, ability to generate awareness and excitement in the community about the program to help in fundraising, daily paperwork, and outreach to the senior community. Other responsibilities include monitoring food temperature, completing in-home assessments, and participating in special events and functions. When necessary the applicant may deliver meals to homebound clients.

Monday-Friday, approximately 25 hours per week.

+ In-Home Services Director – Montgomery Co

This is very responsible supervisory and administrative work involving the operations and management of In-Home Services in thirteen counties. Activities associated with the job include the supervision of daily activities performed by Coordinators and administrative support as well as oversight of field staff. Additional activities include preparing and monitoring the annual budget; formulating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with governing regulations and guidelines; monitoring quality assurance and improvement processes; staff training; interaction with funding agencies; public speaking; funding requests; compiling and reporting data; and developing/maintaining professional relationships with other community partners. Job responsibilities require experience in providing educational programs; thorough knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing home care; and considerable experience supervising staff. The incumbent must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment with significant on-call responsibilities and be able to travel locally and work to expand services in the Mid-Cumberland area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a BA/BS Degree in Social Services, Business Administration, Psychology, Health Sciences, or closely related field. Experience required managing a social service agency or department; supervising program staff; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; ability to develop and monitor detailed program budgets and develop effective administrative practices to insure program compliance; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the above critical knowledge and abilities.

Incumbent must have reliable transportation, proof of $100,000 vehicle liability insurance and clean background.

We are seeking a compassionate people person who is a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and skillset to document all work performed in a client’s home throughout the county. Must have a reliable source of transportation and mileage reimbursement offered. Duties to be performed in clients’ home include general household tasks including cleaning, vacuuming, etc.; personal care including bathing, feeding, transferring and toileting; meal preparation; errands; emotional support; budgeting; community resource building; etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED; Background Check; 100,000 vehicle liability coverage.

Mid-Cumberland Human Resource Agency's In-Home Services provides essential services to elderly and disabled individuals within their own homes. Part-Time Positions are available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. $10 case rate with work available during the day, evening, or weekend.

Duties Include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.
