Case Officer-Sumner Co

This full-time position is located in the Sumner County Office. The Case Officer will supervise and monitor non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to the Community Corrections Program for Sumner County while ensuring compliance with program policies and procedures. MCHRA is a non-profit local government agency offering excellent benefits, TCRS, and insurance packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of probationers through office visits and home visits
  • Identify and establish supportive services as needed
  • Maintain accurate case documentation to comply with program policies
  • Provide testimony in court as required
  • Assist with electronic monitoring and fee collection
  • Maintain case management database

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of qualifying full-time professional experience in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, Law Enforcement, or closely related field 4 years of directly related work experience may substitute for degree requirement
  • Experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed and confidential information

  • 40 hours/week, $19.95 per hour

RPO Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented RPO Coordinator to support rural transportation planning across Cheatham, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, and Stewart Counties. This role collaborates with TDOT, local governments, and regional agencies to coordinate transportation initiatives and planning projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate rural transportation programs and planning efforts
  • Serve as liaison with TDOT and local agencies
  • Assist with transportation plans, corridor studies, and regional projects
  • Collaborate with MPOs, counties, and municipalities
  • Review policies and support program implementation
  • Represent the organization at meetings and events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Administration, Transportation, Business, Geography, or related field
  • Experience in transportation planning, program management, or government coordination preferred
  • GIS knowledge a plus

Day Reporting Center Treatment Coordinator -Gallatin, TN

The Day Reporting Center (DRC) Treatment Coordinator reports to the Director of Correctional Services and the Community Corrections Program Manager. Job duties with this position include alcohol and drug treatment for offenders who meet Day Reporting Center qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will conduct assessments to determine eligibility to DRC
  • Oversee all treatment classes within the DRC.
  • Counsel offenders relating to alcohol and drug treatment and mental health
  • Evaluates offender progress of accomplished contract objectives; recommends measurable standards to correct identified problems and deficiencies
  • Prepares, maintains and documents required reporting and records management
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, team meetings, conferences and in-service training. Instructs and participates in training activities for offenders
  • Develops treatment placement options for offenders
  • Maintains interaction with criminal justice system and other agencies to coordinate and identify applicable resources

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • LADAC II license through the State of Tennessee
  • A valid Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance.
  • Satisfactory background check

Duties Include: Light housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Errands, Socialization, and Personal Care including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, communicate well, work independently, document work performed, have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, & a clean background check. CNA or previous experience working with elderly/disabled individuals or within the healthcare field is helpful but not required. EOE.
