Community Corrections
In 1985, Tennessee’s special legislative session created the Community Corrections (CC) program to reduce prison overcrowding.
Homemaker
The Homemaker Program assists elderly and disabled adults with routine household tasks and household budgeting, shopping, and
transportation to medical appointments.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program assists elderly residents and prospective residents
of nursing homes, assisted living and residential homes.
MCHRA Public Transit
MCHRA Public Transit provides rural mass public transportation service to 12 counties.
Meals-on-Wheels/Senior Dining
Meals-on-Wheels has been providing healthy home-delivered and café-style meals to Middle Tennessee seniors, age 60 and
over, for more than 30 years.
Misdemeanor Management
The Misdemeanor Management Services (MMS) program offers the court a viable alternative to
incarceration in the sentencing of misdemeanor offenders.
Representative Payee Services
The Representative Payee Services (RPS) manages financial affairs of beneficiaries who are unable to handle their own finances due to disabilities.
YouthCAN (Career Action Network)
The YouthCAN program provides the financial and educational help needed to receive a high school diploma, GED,
postsecondary diploma or certificate.
